Frequently asked questions.

What services do you offer?

I offer both medication management and psychotherapy services. In between appointments, I stay in close touch with you through Spruce, a secure messaging app available on iOS, Android, and directly on the web. Through messaging, we can continue the conversation and address any issues as they arise. This means that you aren’t left waiting for the next available appointment to get help. I am right here to support you via text when you need it the most.

What conditions do you treat?

I work with clients struggling with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, substance use disorders, stress and burnout, and emotional dysregulation.

How do I schedule my first appointment?

Please contact me by phone, email, or text, and we can discuss your reasons for seeking treatment. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll go ahead and schedule an initial visit.

What happens in the first appointment?

During our first meeting, the goal is to get to know you. We will discuss in detail your current symptoms and future goals. I will also obtain important information about your psychiatric and medical histories. At the conclusion of the visit, we will work together to develop an initial treatment plan that you are comfortable with.

In some cases, I may need additional information from your previous providers, friends, or family, in order to fully understand your illness and make the best treatment recommendations. In those cases, we will create a treatment plan during a second, follow-up visit.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, I do not accept insurance. If your insurance permits Out-of-Network benefits, I may be able to provide a Superbill of services rendered, which can be presented to your insurance company for reimbursement.

What are your fees?

Please contact me to receive a copy of the fee schedule.

What forms of payment are accepted?

I accept credit, debit, HSA, and FSA card payments only. I process all payments through Square, a HIPAA-secure, PCI-protected card-on-file payment service.

What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments cancelled less than one full business day before the appointment time will be billed for the full amount of the session. For example, an appointment on a Tuesday at 1:00pm must be rescheduled or cancelled before Monday at 12:59pm, to avoid the cancellation fee.

Where is your office located?

My office is located on the third floor of The Gardens building in the Sawtelle neighborhood of West LA; the address is 2001 S Barrington Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90025. There is ample street parking, both free and metered, as well as an attached parking garage.

Do you offer video appointments via telemedicine?

I am able to offer virtual appointments at this time. Please contact me, and we can discuss my telemedicine policy in further detail.
